Warranty and Maintenance Programs
The Avocent Care® services warranty and maintenance program offers you a complete range of hardware and software support solutions including extended standard warranty, advanced replacement, 24/7 technical support and software maintenance.
These programs give you major benefits such the ability to:

Standard Warranty - Hardware

- Free replacement of “Dead On Arrival” units
- Free repair on defective units for 2 years
Extended Standard Warranty - Hardware
- Extend your Standard Warranty by 1, 2 or 3 years
- Eliminate out-of-warranty repair costs
- Technical support is available during normal business hours
Advanced Replacement - Hardware
- Advance equipment replacement for 1, 2 or 3 years
- Same business day shipment of advance replacement
24/7 Telephone Support
- Standard Warranty coverage.
- 24/7 phone-in technical support.
- Available in 1, 2, or 3 year options
Software Maintenance
- 1 year of free maintenance included with all purchases
- Options to purchase 1 or 2 year additional maintenance for software

Training at Avocent
Training is a critical component of the Avocent Care® services program. Avocent offers customers in depth training on the DS Series products. This training focuses on best practices and the most effective way to use Avocent products.
Current Offerings:
Course 350: Using & administering DSView 3 software
Training is available in the following formats:
- Scheduled courses at Avocent facilities
- Scheduled courses arranged in IT training facilities in major cities
- On-site training programs customised to Avocent customer requirements

Scheduled course in IT training facilities
The Avocent training department partners with some of the leading IT specialist training companies around the world. This enables Avocent to leverage state of the art IT facilities to bring our training programs out into the marketplace, close to our customers. These scheduled courses can accommodate up to 12 people per course.
